Portraits From Photos

Photos of weddings, family members and pets are just some of the subjects that lend themselves to Photo Portraits.

Custom house portraits are also becoming increasingly popular.

In recent years, I've learned the art of fluid/pour painting, and I think this technique can make a great background for some portraits (see pet portrait examples on this page). More examples of Photo Portraits and pour paintings are in the Gallery.

If a Live Wedding Painting won't work at your event, or if your ceremony has already occurred, a painting from a photo is the next best thing! 

A photo of the couple exchanging vows, the first dance, first kiss, cake cutting, the bridal bouquet or any other favorite moment can be turned into a Wedding Portrait. 

Wedding Portraits also make great anniversary gifts!

My love of animals led me to start painting Pet Portraits for friends & family.

There's no question that our pets are important members of the family, and a hand-painted Pet Portrait of a beloved animal is something you will cherish.

Is there some aspect of your original photo that's not ideal? Don't worry! One benefit of commissioning a Photo Portrait is that I can modify the painting to reflect desired changes from the original photo.
